Cool toy!

You enter a phrase (or series of phrases, but it may take a while to load), and it searches through it's database of songs for the words, and plays it. I like putting in actual song lyrics:

You can dance if you want to, but you leave your friends behind, cause your (not you're, the database doesn't know it) friends don't dance and if they don't dance, well they are (not they're) no friends of mine.

If the word isn't in the database, then you can recommend a song that has the word in it, so they can get it later.

Really nifty.

Cool!

I played around with this a bit to create a DROD-themed song it knows all the word for; the best I could do is this small ditty:

I see a baby coming for me
Mother will close her eyes
And then there will be three

If anyone knows a song which contains the word "tar", the DROD theme could be made more obvious. I tried using "star", but unfortunately the one they have has a rather prominent "s".

Obviously, it doesn't know "level". Also, it doesn't accept punctuation, so I can't make the first sentence a question.

Hehe. It's quite fun to try songs of other kinds... Happy birthday in particular sounds great, so long as the name you choose is in their database.

And I agree with Matt. They just don't do justice to the great Mr Hermansen, do they?

If you like that, try http://www.dictionaraoke.org/ for songs "sung" by the pronouncation sound clips from online dictionaries. It doesn't let you make your own songs and hasn't been updated in a while, but it's worth a look.
