never mind i solved it i found out you should trap the roach on a down arrow

Using the previously outlined theory that posting will produce a 'solve'. Failing that, can anyone help please?
Our learned friend above mentions trapping our adversary in a downward arrow. Where would that be? And how would I get it there?
I really do have trouble with these sorts of puzzles

Aaaargh! I'm still stuck. I can get the roach to the odd arrow in the top row, but can't get him off. Will someone please show me the, probably dumb, mistake I am making?

I've attached a screen shot if it is of any help.

I am doing DROD TCB. Does anyone know why I get the following error message every time I try to import the demo for The uncturage room 1N2E
"One or more demos being imported belong to a hold,or room you dont have and
were ignored

Interesting... the screenshot linked in the title of the first post in this thread doesn't show the off-by-one arrow. I wonder if there's been a room change at some point? Edit: Nope, just linked to the wrong room.

Here's my demo; try this instead. It's a bit inefficient, but you can use the left and right arrow keys to quickly scroll through a demo. This was exported from TCB version 3.3.0.96. If it still won't import, make sure you're running the latest version of TCB from http://forum.caravelgames.com/downloads.php .

I suspect this has to do with demo versions of TCB or something but I wouldn't know how to help you.

If you're playing the demo of TCB and haven't bought it, that would probably be why, but if not it might be the other way around. Or more likely, I don't know what I'm talking about.

Tks for the reply.Indeed I was using the demo version even though I had bought
the full version. After your suggestion I download it. I am having to do all the rooms over. It's ok it is fun. I will see what happen when I get to 1N2E

If you've bought the game and are playing the full version, you should be able to move your progress from the demo version to the full version. I think you have to export your player file, but I'm not 100% sure.

Also, if you press enter in game, you can chat and ask questions there too.
