I am one move short. I hit the save point with 28 moves until the next spawn. I take 29 moves to kill the remaining mud mother. Where can I gain that one move necessary to make it through this room, before or after the save point?

(but that doesn't work for the 5th level version of this room. aie.)

I'm not getting to the checkpoint until 97, even with leaving a tar baby. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm obviously doing something wrong.
