If i jump in and try to move it moves without the platform and still can get anywhere.

Sorry. Go in that, on the Platforms, and move in the eight directions. For go left, stay in the platforms and press 4. Etc...!

Where would one find the thread for a secrt room? If I go to room help there is nothing for it on the map. Surely othersx have had some difficulty?

Here's the thread for the room in question. If you've got CaravelNet, you just need to make sure CaravelNet knows that you have visited the room - this should just be the case of entering the room while you are connected. If it's not working try quitting or looking at the demo screen - I think this normally forces the game to check in with the server.

Boy, I don't get this at all. I tried moving in a directions but what IS a platform? I tried moving in 8 directions, 1 move each, from the entry point but nothing. I don't understand the earlier posts "jump in that". I must be dense but jump in what?

Please, please, help. I absolutely hate this.

I am sorry .It does not work for me I went on the platform at 16,9 and press all direction keys that does not work.
Same on Bridge (21,21)

The thing at (16,9) is a bridge, not a platform. Bridges will be explained when you get to the later level River Dugan.

Platforms are purple tiles like the one at (10,16). Stand on that and move south, then east to fly it across the pit.
