hi,

i had a virus and now i have a problem with my harddisc.
it is not booting anymore. in fact it is booting endlessly. about every half second it is booting and makes the boot-sound(sounds like a click). the computer waits for the disk to boot and stops also.
this also happens when i install the disk in another computer.

anyone knows what to do to rescue the disk?

Hello, and welcome to the forum!

Hmm...

I don't know much about this kind of thing, but if you find you really cannot start the computer up at all, you could try attaching it as a secondary drive to a computer that does work, and scanning it with antivirus software to see if you can find it and get rid of it.
