No, you can't move Beethro in a cutscene. But you can move a character.

There's a thread in General that has lots of examples about cutscenes. Search the forum for it :)

Make player role "none" and have an NPC "Clone" appear where beethro was. Move the clone and then when it's finished, make the clone disappear, and have player role "Beethro"

Instead of disappearing and setting player role to Beethro, just do Turn into Monster for the Beethro NPC, that way the real Beethro is exactly where the NPC stopped, with the same sword direction.
