Are you stepping north off the token? You need to minimise the number of steps from token to orb.

Step on the conquer token, and then you have control over the fegundo. He flies in the direction you are facing. When he runs into something, he explodes and everything next to him too. If he dies over pits or water, he is gone, but if he dies over ground, he comes back to life after a few turns.

So the roaches don't get you while you are directing him,

Where is the secret spot that you can hide from the roaches? After hitting the second globe, two of them seem to be able to find me wherever I go.

It sounds like you are using Q and W to turn the fegundo. That only allows 1/8 turn per move. As you say, that doesn't work at that one corner where you are stuck.

When you are manipulating a fegundo with a swordless character, it will move in the direction you are facing. So, here, you can use the direction keys to move the negotiator and the fegundo at the same time. This allows much sharper turns.

This works the same way if you're on Oremites, a level comes later where you'll need this information to avoid going insane.

Unfortunately, I, too, am stuck at this point.

I've tried different methods, the most effective-looking being where I can manage to get one space south of the orb in the eastern chamber, in order to get past the yellow door blocking the fegundo's path. However, I am therefore unable to make the last sharp turn, due to the fact that there are at least three roaches above the orb. I'm assuming that this is the wrong method...

I have read everything in this topic, and am unable to understand how exactly I can manage to get to the orb and manage to make the sharp turn, with the roaches above me.

A demo would be appreciated (right after I upgrade from 3.0.0 - just bought TCB).

I've always hated Fegundo puzzles - when everything seems to be going easy, one of those comes along.

It's looking like a nicely polished game so far, though.

There shouldn't be any roaches by the orb when you hit it.

Oh, that's what I was doing wrong! I was completely ignoring the fact that I could simply go ahead and hit the orb. How incredibly stupid of me...

Well, I've beaten the room normally, but there's still the optional challenge - hit the fegundo token before turn 30, and clear the room. I'm not sure that's actually possible, because of the aforementioned issue of not being able to get out of the queen's room without being followed by roaches?
