This is the last room I have on the level. I've figured out how I can loop around the roach in the upper right corner of the room, but I can't see how it helps. I just can't get to the last trapdoor before the roach.

I'm more stumped.. I have no clue, last room on this level too :/ my original thought process was to somehow set off all the trap doors so the roach would try to circumvent the pits & travel through the snake part, killing, then I could kill the brain & the roach.. but I see no way to reach the middle trap door before the roach, and I get the feeling that this is incorrect anyway

hmm I step on the left platform, step north, step on the right platform, try to get to the middle & always a turn short, don't know what kind of dance to do to get the roach to alter his path in any way

You don't always have to walk past trap doors. You can step on it and back off it.
