Can't for the life of me figure out how to position so that I get all six in. I need all six don't I? The best I can do is get all six like so with swords pointing south.

but then when I move into the chute, I lose at least one and then lose two more before I can move them into position to kill the roaches.

The tricks in this hold are elegantly simple while diabolically maddening. This is just one room of many that are frustrating me.

There are 6 roaches and 6 mimics. You cannot afford loosing ANY mimic... But I think you knew this. The trick is how to keep all mimics alive. Well, some hints follow:

×No mimic should be able to move after you placed the last mimic. EDIT: To be precise, moving Beethro in any of 7 directions, should not move any mimic.

I've been stuck here for more than a month too . . . and none of the various placement orders I've tried have worked at all well. (A few times I've lost three mimics when entering the tunnel, which is inferior performance indeed.) Which of these six mimics gets placed first?

Thanks . . . it still took me a while, since you apparently can't run Beethro over the mimics in just any ol' order . . . but I've dropped this millstone of a room at last.
