the demo does not work well for me. Each move takes 10-15 secs>:huh?. Very slow and can't wee orbs. Unimpressed.

You need a 3D-accelerated video card with OpenGL drivers installed. I am in the same boat as you--it is too slow to be playable.

Mine doesn't do anything. Actually, that's not true. It starts, then crashes 0.2 seconds later.

Well, that's slightly worse than mine, and this has been discussed before, but I just have a huge triangle instead of a)Beethro and b)the monsters. To play, I have to go by memory instead of sight. Not fun, yet.

Same here zex. All I see are big triangles. They are nicely rendered triangles I might add, but they just don't cut it.

I have an old VooDoo 3000 video card with 8 MB ram. It supports
open gl, glide and 3D but bethroo is just a black dot which moves very slowly and the orbs are not visible at all

Works fine for me, looks mostly good (though controls and camera angles could do with err... polishing) and a consistent 60 frames per second. I'm using a Geforce3 Ti200 - not exactly the most recent graphics card on the market (a couple of years old) The game also works fine on a Geforce2 MX. My ancient ATI artifact does not, however, play the game successfully - but then I didn't expect it to.

What graphics cards are people using? We know 3dfx cards appear unlikely to work... No chance of a fix there if it's a driver problem.

It works great for me. P3 667, 384MB,Gforce2 64 MB. Settings at 800x600 and speed at fast. Getting 65 FPS. I still prefer Caravel Drod.

well la de da to the big 'puter boys (joke).
For us poor unfortunates with dated equipment, I guess
we don't play the new version. Got enough trouble getting
through caravel level 8 anyway.
Seen my brother's (squeekie's) machine and it does rock though even it is slow compared to the 2-3 ghz machines out now. I'm still running 350 mhz IBM
