Hi, I'm a noob and I need help....

I downloaded the hold "The Killing Jar" and I'm stuck on the entrance (yeah, I know). It doesn't look like there's anyway to beat it, since enemies are coming from four directions at once. The most I can do is lure one bug into the diamond and kill it, but then it's counterpart on the opposite side has me cornered.

I'd really like to figure this out, it's been annoying me for a few days now
