We all have played an AE hold in JtRH. We all know that the room styles are different. I propose that in TCB, we have the option to make rooms which use styles from a previous version use specific custom styles instead of default TCB graphics. This leaves clear the way for some enterprising modder to recapture the charms of the original graphics.

Whist being a nice idea in concept, it is really worth the effort?
Look at it is way, how many people would prefer AE graphics over JtRH?

I perfer seeing KDD in AE. Most of the AE holds are designed with AE styles in mind, and look better there.

Bring back Palace!

Ooh, and those weird green obstacles from the 8/16/24 style.

Yeah, those wraithwing-like statues from Voids don't really have an equivalent in JtRH.

Well, if someone were to get their hands on the 9 styles, it probably wouldn't be that hard to make 22x22 versions of them. After all, they are mostly pretty simple.

Actually, no.

I've made a wraithwing-guy statue for the style I'm currently making, and let me tell you. It does look like a wraithwing-guy-statue, but it didn't turn out nearly as high quality as the little guy.

However, yeah, things like pyramids and slush pools aren't quite as hard.

I would direct your attention to the subsequent posts. And really I don't see that it would be that difficult (remaking them would be), though of course I am ignorant.

There's certainly someone (or several people) going around silently modding down posts. I wish whoever that is would come out and say aloud why they are downmodding other people - at the moment I can't tell if there is a legitimate problem they have with the posts, or whether this is just random vandalism.
