Yes I get the idea that that's what you're supposed to do but I can't work out how to get him into that position. I'm sure there's some trick about how to control his motion that I'm missing. Having got this far into a hold I don't like to give up but this one has defeated me - well done to the author!
For me the actual execution involved a lot of trial and error, but I assume you understand the basic issue:

Normally, when you're facing the Slayer against a wall he will have his sword in an opposing position:
B/ /S
---------
or
B- -S
----------
So your goal is to get the Slayer mirroring you:
B/ \S
-----------
This is pretty easy to do once you know how:
With the following picture:
B/ /S
---------
Beethro steps north to cause the Slayer to swing his hook around, and then SE to close the gap with the Slayer. Distance is important -- too far away and it won't matter -- too close and you get hooked.
Then you can just push him.
The part I had the hard time with was getting him up against the right wall. That took a lot of trying, but I don't think there's any special technique to it...
IMO, this hold would benefit from some clearly stated objectives once in a while.
