When I try to insert an image, I get an image not available message with a list of reasons.

BTW: I'm on JTRH level 11 having a problem with 5N. I can insert images from earlier levels. (Just for grins, I tried level 1 & it worked.)

I also can't see a room image posted. Makes it tough to get help when I can't see the room I'm having a problem with.

Room images will only be shown for rooms the server knows you have visited.

For the server to know this, you need a CaravelNet account, or you'll only be able to see the first 3 levels that are also contained in the demo.

I have the same problem, and I am a member. Don't know how to tell the server what rooms I've visited - tell me whatv to do please?

So:

1. You have paid for an account.

2. You have uploaded your scores from your version of DROD, meaning that

a) You have "Automatically save a demo when you conquer a room" in the "settings" page checked.

b) You have a valid connection with caravelnet which is shown by a green tick in the top of the menu page in DROD.

If this still doesn't work, try hitting "Upload my Scores" in the settings page.

If you have done all that and it still doesn't work, tell me.

Just for the record - if the room you're currently playing isn't recognized by the forum right away, you can just hit F6 in DROD to bring up the demo screen. It'll say that you must complete the room before being able to download demos, but by doing that DROD tells the server that you have visited said room.

If you can't see the image, but you know it's the room you're stuck on, you can still ask for help on it.

You can automate the high score uploading in your settings ("Always save a demo on completion" tick box or something similar). This should upload the demos as you play and you won't have to go and upload manually... just a thought.

True, I did notice. You had several points listed which could help fix pecan's initial problem. I was just focusing on the one which could help in future as we know the rest is now OK (Paid account etc). I personally remember being very confused by what that option actually *did* the first time I saw it.
