Here are my scores:

Chaco:
C: 8/10 - Pretty good, but I would have liked to see more golems in the corners.
D: 10/10 - It was difficult, butit is solvable. (did I spell that right?)
L: 7/10 - Nice look to it.

Total: 25/30
Grand Total: 69/90

Jamesdenem:
C: 10/10 - Had all of the elements.
D: 8/10 - Wasn't too difficult.
L: 7/10 - Looked good.

Total: 25/30
Grand Total: 75/90

Lst6:
C: 7/10 - The 5 queens were spread out too much. I thought they should be together in a box.
D: 8/10 - Wasn't too hard.
L: 8/10 - I liked the look, and the meter idea.

Total: 23/30
Grand Total: 69/90

I also went back and added up the previous totals to mine.

I was thinking more of the bottom corners. There were golems down there, but it didn't look like there was a way to get to them. I just thought since the theme requested golems in all 4 corners, they would have to be slayed as well.

Overall it was a good room. I haven't solved it yet, I have to work on my timing.

Oh my, a tie! Now what, maybe we can just make a 3 day poll to sort that out. But really, those queens were not so difficult, I am bad in DROD and could sort them out in about turn 100.

Oh well, well see what our uber judge decides.

Ok, here are my scores. Feel free to ignore them.

Chaco:
C: 9/10 - There were only golems in two of the corners. NPC's that look like golems are not golems, in my opinion.
D: 9/10 - Quite challenging - not excessively difficult. Took me two tries.
L: 8/10 - Looks pretty good.

Total: 26/30
Grand Total: 95/120

Jamesdenem:
C: 10/10 - Had all of the elements.
D: 7/10 - The scripting was at least slightly unintuitive, which certainly doesn't help. And not very difficult either.
L: 9/10 - Looked good.

Total: 27/30
Grand Total: 102/120

Lst6:
C: 9/10 - It does say "Five queens in a box" which I interperet to mean one box.
D: 7/10 - Completed with no trouble on my first try (i.e. not very difficult at all).
L: 8/10 - Looked pretty good. The meter idea was interesting, but was rather short-lived considering nothing more happened with it after 45 moves.

Total: 24/30
Grand Total: 93/120

Ow, I lost! Oh well, then the story of Beethro and the stange tar/mud lover ends here,there where better entries anyway.

The event bar is not dead yet Kevin_P86, I may use it in future rooms, I just wanted to introduce the Idea. And when the patch is ready the cripting of this will be easier than now (those wait 0 effects is what I need)

Jeff, we are waiting for the final theme and my 3rd place banner.

EDIT:

Here it is, guys. Of course, as always, the "entry select" level follows the theme.

Since there were only three actual entries, I made optional challenges for both of the other two that make them... er... more challenging. That way the level had a bit more content, with seven rooms instead of four.

I forgot about this. Since i don't have school today, i'll put in the theme.

-You must have at least one of EACH monster in your level.

-Include a scripting widget (do not use lst6's event clock)

-have the 'Deep Spaces win' or 'Finale' tune playing.

-Include at least one trapdoor, red door, orb, yellow door (open AND closed), green door, black door, crumbly wall.

-Have tar AND mud.

I suggest we do something grand because its the finale. Here are some suggestions:

-A freestyle make-it-as-fun-as-possible theme
-I don't think some people can hear Deep Spaces Win, maybe another song would be nice
-a longer deadline
-a more interesting type of scoring and their maximum score:
Difficulty (D) - Out of 50 points
Originality (O) - Out of 50 points
Fun (F) - Out of 50 points
Correctness (C) - Out of 50 points
Look (L) - Out of 50 points

That would be great.

Actually, my music script is like this:

Set Music Foundation Win
Set Music Deep Spaces Win

Since it doesn't change the music if you specify a music file you don't have, people with the demo hear Foundation Win and people with the full version hear Deep Spaces Win.

Also, Jeff already specified the theme.

I may not be as done as Chaco with the room, but I have my scripting widget complete, and I just have to add the enemies and look.

I don't mind exactly how we send in the final round, though I didn't look at the other rooms until after they were placed into the compilation.

Unfortunately, my scripting widget isn't quite as impressive in that it doesn't really play as much of a part in the room, but it still took enough code so that I couldn't stick it all over the room. And it's still reasonably cool.

TCB will make such a device much easier to code though.

Well, I am ready to make my room available for judging. I can PM it to you Jeff_Ray, if you want. Or I can just post it here.

Hopefully the scrolls I placed are descriptive enough so you will know what to do, and what is and is not expected with my scripting widget. There are two ways to solve my room, and I have checked both ways to make sure it is possible to solve either way, and it is.
