Welcom to the passing of the hold.
This is a community project!
Add a room onto the hold!

Rules: Next person to post Room#n (n being whatever number, I am one so next person is 2) will get to recieve the hold and add his/her room to it.

1. The person who recieves the hold will delete a wall of his/her choise of the last persons room and replace it with a green door. If you have a problem with this specify it once your done.

2. You must include your name and room area on a scroll in the first room

3. As far as rooms go, anything goes: scripting stairs that lead to elsewhere in your room

4. Your room MUST be beatable

5. Play test your own room and keep it on anyone can edit

6. Post PASS when you are done and attach the hold

7. If you want to do something crazy/cool but it breaks a rule, talk to me and we will work something out

8. you are aloud to que up for passing so if someone says room#4 and you can write room #5

9.Have fun!

And here it is... I already cut back on the number of queens a few times - 18 roaches spawning at a time almost worked, but this is a little more realistic I think.

Edit: By the way, this is the first room I ever made, so I hope it's ok...

I know you guys like golems, from the Community Project. So I made that the main part of my room.

I also added a hallway to credit rooms to each author to the entrance. :)

It looked pretty easy, but it turned out to be harder than I thought. About 5.5 brains of difficulty. :)

Wow, tokyokid. Uh, your room has a lot going on in it. Complex. Well, like most of your rooms.

At first I couldn't figure out what the decoy was for, so I blew up the bombs near the beginning. Then I realised the serpent was isolated, so I let it die, THEN blew up the bombs.

Then I realised the mud mother on the left became inaccessible after a few spawns, so I put it there, and the room practically solved itself after the trapdoors :)

By the way, did you put that room exit in the top of 1N1E? I thought the level was supposed to be linear. Oh well. I wish you had put your room in a slightly better location though. :/

Oh well, I'll take care of it next time it's my turn. I want Jeff_Ray and some other people to go first, however.

I made 2E, a junction room. I also put the staircase to the next level (when there is one, I'm thinking after fifteen to twenty rooms in this level)

The south route goes to the two rooms already made, but the north and east passages are empty, and can go to new rooms (which may continue a corridor or be junctions themselves)

My main concern with the tunnels was that they were one-way. Now they're not, since they don't exist. Anyway, carry on! :)

Yours was actually pretty good. It was simple to kill the starting serpents with roaches, and doing the rest of the room wasn't hard after that. A nice little break after tokyokid's room.

Oh, stupid me. I thought Jeff_Ray's was #6, and it was... if you counted the Entrance as #1. It doesn't really count as a room.

I did #6, so the next two are 7 and 8.

And it's not just two, I'd like to see this level be at least sorta big before we go onto the next level.

Before we go a lot further, I think we need to figure out how to keep this as the same hold. Currently, this is just a bunch of author's copies of the original hold, meaning that your saved games aren't saved...

meaning that you have to play the whole hold again when somebody adds another room. That was fine when it was four rooms. But we need to solve it before this gets really big and annoying to play through several, several times.
