Hm maybe I'm a little stupid, but I have no idea how to solve this room. I can't get to the left side of the room, nothing there to help me get the trapdoor down. Please, I need some hints.

Sure, I'v used it to fill the room with roaches and let everything explode then and a few other things, I must be blind.
