This one was in Architecture for a good long time before publishing, so the bugs were removed. :)

EDIT:

Third Period: Once North Twice East (pole vault) is broken - there is no penalty for a'sploding the bombs.

EDIT #2:

Also, Fourth Period Once South probably should have a blue door, since I was able to play hooky during English class ;)

It is solvable. I also had some trouble with this one--and discovered something about one of the two non-invisibility potions that I hadn't known before. Keep experimenting.

What a nice little hold :) I tend to prefer puzzle type rooms, but despite quite a lot of hoarde management, I thoroughly enjoyed this hold. Great theme throughout (though why Calculus had anything to do with calculus is anyone's guess :)).

Excellent work!

Same comments I had earlier:

I love the school theme.
Even better, you didn't just say, "The theme is school." and then ignore it. Every single room had to do with the theme. Excellent job!

I found Math and PE most enjoyable.

Most of the rooms were average to easy difficulty and played pretty smoothly.

As you noted, the German flag was a bit labor intensive. I also found the "American Revolution" to be tedious. Run all around the room to kill the tar/mud mothers then run all around the room again for the babies. Of course this might be what you're looking for since this is a war.

Overall, I like it.

The first calulas room was a calculas problem, the second one was well... uh... ok that didn't have anything to do with it.

Third Period: Once North Twice East (pole vault) is broken - there is no penalty for a'sploding the bombs.

Also, Fourth Period Once South probably should have a blue door, since I was able to play hooky during English class ;)

Edit one: I guess I just overlooked that, dumb me
Edit two: oops... oh well I never really liked english class anyway...

And I apologize to larrymurk, I really should have used more of his ideas.
However posting was messing up, and I was getting frusterated...

I really enjoyed this hold. Lots of rooms that were fun to complete, and the theme really worked.

One thing that stuck out to me - the San Francisco Earthquake room. Having a horde of brained rock golems come after you is just frickin' scary! I'm used to dealing with swarms of roaches and mud/tar babies, but when you close off one side, and they immediately turn and start marching around to another passage to get to you - I'm starting to feel like I'm in a zombie movie.

Yep - they *love closing you in. That's why I suggest not blocking them off, but simply slowly retreating backwards as you make an almost-blocked way - most of them aren't smart enough to go around back.

In the origonal version of that room the brain could be killed whenever, but I realized the running and passage blocking was more fun

I realized that I had played this one without rating it, and that's just wrong.

So: I enjoyed this hold. Some clever puzzles, not very difficult (although I did get stuck on one room fulla rock golems for a while...have I mentioned that I hate rock golems?).

I give it a 7, only because I can't give it a 7.5. I also give it 5.5 brains.

I look forward to robin's next hold!

Josh
