When the holds or posts or what ever are sorted alphabetically it would be nice to click on ABC's instead of 123's.

I assume you want to choose the first letter of the displayed holds instead of jumping to a certain page?

At least that's what I make out of your post - maybe if you could describe it in a bit more detail?

Yes. When you hit holds then sort by "hold name", the pages are numbered. I think it would be easier to have the pages be lettered according to what letter holds are on that page.
