That spiky dude looks like the Shrike in Dan Simmons' Hyperion series, but there aren't any games based off of that... and I've got nothing else.

That's just me, though.

Keep in mind, guys, that first screenshot has the GameSpot logo on it. That makes it pretty easy to check your guess, because you just need to see if GameSpot has that picture for your guess.

Which means that game is NOT Dragon Lore.

The game is Dragon Lore II.

DGM gets it, this is indeed Dragon Lore II. The third screenshot is a major location in the game (a sort of crossroads), and it has the best music, so it makes sense that it's memorable.

Dragon Lore, is a two game quest series from Cryo, and it's pretty mediocre. Sure, the rendering of the environments was pretty good for that time, and the music was very well done, but that's about it. The plot is cliche, the combat system horrible, the characters have no character, and the whole game has an unfinished look to it. One of the worst, but it still was kinda fun first time through. And the crossroads music is awesome.
