I remember trying, but never really getting anywhere. It might've been a decent puzzle game if it hadn't been lumbered with a time limit. How they got away with calling that game Thunderbirds, I'll never know (pushing blocks around inside an Egyptian pyramid? the connection is obvious).

These games are supposed to be played with cheats, you know.

Oh, according to the instructions, it's something like rescuing people trapped in a pyramid.

But, I can see you've never had the (mis)fortune to play any licensed games. Put a well known character in it, and it will sell (look at those Superman games... (and Madden))

Released for C64 and Apple II, it was a very primitive 3D dungeon crawl; the only game I ever hacked -- editing the character generation program, which was written in Basic, to produce an uber-character. Sadly, this was no help in getting past the riddle at the game's end.

If I could still remember the riddle I'm sure I would have solved it by now. I managed to find and contact the original programmer just last year, who had no memory of any riddle

Technically, that wouldn't be enough alone: you'd need a +4 to bestow a +2 on someone else. If you don't have any mod point storage, though, don't worry about it: one of us stingy spenders will mod up the winner (I have some 80 mod points that are begging for love).

Well, I wouldn't touch "far more original than Tetris" given that Tetris is a genre-defining game, but this game is really hard and unforgiving. It's more merciless than DROD and involves a lot of strategy. Plain ol' Tetris it isn't.
