I guess I am looking for confirmation that I am heading in the right direction.



Is this the correct strategy or am I wasting my time as I have not succeeded yet in transitioning from the lower area to the upper area?

I don't think anyone has solved this Doom's "intended" way.

Ugh. Yeah, I did it the hard way too. I don't believe I've ever had to kill a snake like that before, so I didn't notice it.

I guess that explains why this room didn't quite feel as 'devious' as the others, but just painful, tricky work. I'm still somewhat satisfied with myself that I managed to pull it off... At least I learned something new in the process.

Are these correct? Assuming that that's how it works, and that the former is the easier one, then how do I do it? The brain keeps the snake from staying anywhere I want it to be for long enough!

I still don't get it. No matter how hard I try. I can't get the snake to die on the potion, since I can't get back to the orb before the brain gets the serpent out of range. I can't seem to force it around, either. Demo, please?
