There is an old anecdote at UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara), where I got my B.S., about a visit that Frank Lloyd Wright took there. Supposedly he was walking around campus with the tour guide, who was showing him all the buildings. These are pretty typical buildings for a campus built in the 60's at a former military base. Upon completion of the tour, the guide said to Mr. Wright, "So, what do you think?" After a moment's thought, Frank said, "Plant more trees."

Please, add it to this one, we will have a FLW-fest!

I've been to the House on the Rock twice, and I'm trying to remember how much of it was desinged by him. The official website isn't very helpful, although another one suggests that one of the restaurants there is the only one designed by him to actually be a restaurant (instead of becoming one later).

If you don't know what the House on the Rock is, it is one of those uniquely American roadside attractions (as suggested by Neil Gaiman in his awesome novel American Gods), in the middle of Wisconsin. A very strange place, almost has to be seen to be believed.
