Beethro's Teacher : First Level : 1 South, 1 East (0)

ok, here's my first question about this hold:

i think that i only can solve this room if the queens are spawning enough roaches. so that the roaches walking in two lines when i open the gates. but i don't see a way to do so. any hints?

Well, for one you have to milk every last roach out of these queens before you let them run away...

...tried it again in the grey shades of the morning, and i were near to break down. when i walked to the office where i work i got THE idea, how it must work

so i will try out this room once more when i'm back home. but i'm sure, that i'm right now. :fun

sure, it takes a little time, but you should think about the fact, that a queen spawns every 30 turns. if she is on a place that allow her to do so...

also remember the ways roaches and queens are moving from you and to you!

Far Left: Hit orb from spot 1 at turn 28. Spawns 4.
Middle Left: Hit orb from spot 2 at turn 29 to spawn one roach. Then wait until 28 the next turn to move east so as to spawn 3 more at spot 3. Spawns 4.
Middle Right: Hit orb from spot 4 at turn 28. Spawns 3.
Far Right: Hit orb from spot 5 at turn 29 on the counter then waiting for the queen to fill up the row. Then move east at turn 28 so as to spawn the eighth when it reaches spot 6. Spawns 8.

×I assume you have figured out that you need to hit the orb one turn before the spawn so she's going to be blocked on the door tile below where she starts out.

×That gives you one roach that's blocking her, plus 6 roaches that'll line up above her if you wait 6 more spawn cycles.

×To get an eight roach out of her, you'll need to wait until it's 2 turns to the spawn then step east so she'll flee SW. That'll allow her to spawn another roach just above the arrows.
