See, I was lucky. I'm able to hear all of my voices before you hit any of the puzzles. Much easier to brag to your friends when you don't have to worry about solving some of the most difficult puzzles availible.

I'll get to it, but I do have to work up to this like y'all have. I can't figure out one room properly. It's not as frustrating as it is belittling.

Ahhhh, finally mastered it, in addition to completing that business behind the master wall. It's terribly late here, so the general comments will have to wait, but I just wanted to gloat, being one of the few to have mastered all official releases. Negative mods be damned!

and yet you haven't done "that other master room," either.

in fact, no one has. I submit that it's impossible and humbly request the author do one of the following:
1) submit a demo showing it's possible
2) fix the room so that it's possible
3) mark it as uninteresting so it stops blighting highscore-lists-as-TODO-lists with "63/64"

I've not played through all rooms with my CaravelNet player yet, so I can't check high scores for those rooms or create any demos.

In my local copy both rooms are possible, but it's possible that version isn't identical with the one that has been uploaded. I don't remember making any fixes for those rooms, though.

If it's impossible, can anyone tell which part specifically is the stopper? Otherwise, it'll take a little longer as I'll have to play first rest of the hold.

my bad, I saw he had 63/64 and assumed he was missing the same room the rest of the 63/64s were, but in fact, it was some other room he's "missing".

I personally didn't find the room to be that difficult. Take it in stages, and when you get to the end, you'll realize there's one thing you need to change to your tactic.

Why yes! You have to pay for it. You also get a bunch of other goodies. Read up on the Spring Smitemasters' Collection on the main page.

...The alternative, of course, is a cheap-as-hell CaravelNet subscription.

That is correct.

And the price is a steal - you get 4 $9 holds for $12, not to mention the highscores, in-game downloading, and various other goodies.

Which reminds me, I still need to turn myself in for stealing from Caravel when I bought my subscription.

Unfortunately, to get the older holds (KDD 2.0, The Choice, Perfection, Halph Has a Bad Day, Beethro and the Secret Society), you'd need an additional $27, and you'll need to purchase Beethro's Teacher seperately once Master Locks and Smitemastery 101 come out. However, there's still time to get it, although it may be a tad difficult for a newcomer.

Either you can go to your (his) profile and click the Purchases tab, or he can download it in game. Do you not use the same computer? If not, copyright laws are against you, unfortunately.

I find that 2 caravel.net accounts on the same pc works rather well. And it's cheaper than a pizza, so I'd go for it.

Holy Hobuffins! Great hold! Almost every room contains a really clever trick. Really clever! I have to agree with some of the negative things beeing said though.

1) Too much hack and slash for some rooms. Like you have this dificult room, and add some roachqueens.

2) Too many rooms within some of the rooms. Like you have to figure out this and this and this. Simultainiously.

3) Rooms where it was really hard to do anything at all, which made it really hard to test things. I don't want to try an idea for half an hour (or more) just to see that it didn't work. Level 6 1S 2E springs to mind, since I've just completed it. It is hell to try and make every wraithwing survive and then try to fit them into the forcearrows, or some else obscure strategy.

Well... I feel this sounds as if I'm nagging, so I just want to say that this for me is a strong nine for fun raiting. The only hold I am sure I liked better is Perfection. And once again I love the story. Denfry is just such a wonderful element of the hold. I love how he smugly says the really trivial things.

I wonder if I'm the slowest player around with a playing time of 32.19.44

FWIW, I found an unintended solution in the Second Level, 1S.

For future reference, do messages of this nature belong in the "Holds" forum?

If you're talking about 1S - you're trapped as soon as the orb you're not meant to touch is hit. If you didn't mean 1S, I can't quite find a room that matches your description...

You're not the only one. I believe no-one has mentioned that before. This makes it 2 known trivial solutions in the current version. (The other one is in the room in L6 with 2 goblins)

I'll probably come up with fixes a bit later...

Edit: Done. Nothing was changed except for minor tweaks in L2:1S and L6:1S2W, so high score demos shouldn't have been badly hurt.
