Well, if the problem is hitting the orb first, then you are having trouble with the center part and not the outer. You can, for example, enter on the left in the bottom row of two, then in the center 2x2 area move diagonally NE and then continue on to the right and hit the orb along the upper row. Then you should be able to make it to each of the 4 chambers.
By the way, don't forget that Treasure Hunt
Master Quest is a much harder version of my original Treasure Hunt, with JtRH elements. If you haven't played the original, you might find it better to play them in order. If you did play the original, I guess you forgot how to do the trapdoors in this room, since that part stayed the same.
