Hey, all you scribblers and pixel jockeys! This page is for showing what you can do. Post your artwork here so everyone can look at it. Be sure to specify what kind of licensing you want in the attachment options, i.e. give it away to everyone (public domain), keep it all to yourself (all rights reserved), or something in between (Creative Commons, Other). I'll be posting some of my stuff later. If the artwork is DROD-related then that makes it extra-interesting, but anything you have that might be fun to look at is welcome.

We also have a hidden agenda of... But even if you aren't interested in this, it's still inherently worthwhile to post your work.

Sergenth, that was quite good!

I picked up a graphics tablet this evening and am taking baby steps towards learning to color on the computer. Here is my very first attempt at this style. The black lines were done in ink and scanned a long time ago. The color was applied fairly sloppily. Like I said... I'm learning.

WOw . You're really good artist. Uhh. I was wondering if I can show some my work, but I'm not too good in it (Well, mostly people say I draw nice and good, but unfortunately that's not truth), and I have no good scans. I can eventually show my I'm-Bored-In-School-So-I-Take-Paper-And-Pencil-And-Voila comic . Um, better not . If I really would like to do that, I should scan it in bigger resolution. But I have some a little piece of my stuff. Maybe it's not connected with DROD, but always something .

This is my favorite drawing. The girl's face is too cartoony but I'm really happy with the dog:



Overall, as you can see, I'm not very good - not nearly as good as Erik or Sergenth, for sure - but I think I'm not terrible either.

Absolutely! Been using it since 93 (on the Atari STE originally - 3 day processing for a 4 colour 80x80 bmp). Once I got the PC, I made some some good anims, but recently have been interested in recursive POV function calls. Working on a true 3d fractal rep of Mandel but yeah... as far as tools go, it truly equals the advent of led.

I strongly suggest making more and then using them to make a strategy game. That's what hit me at first. Also, I strongly recommend lightening and darkening the individual blades, but I'm not complaining. I have troubles compared to lots of the people here.

This is the jewel case cover art for issue #4 of the Smitemaster's Selection CD. It's the first real project I used my new drawing tablet with. Oneiromancer pointed out that Beethro's cheekbone was weirdly angular, and I fixed that in a later version not shown here. I think I'll leave the flaw in this picture so I can spot it on bootleg CDs later.

Well, I took a stab at doing Beethro.

All done with a grahics tablet. Bout 2 hours. Used PhotoshopCS and OpenCanvas 1. All rights reserved to me unless you ask for my permission.
