So I'm tired of slamming my head into the wall that is Perfection, and I'm looking to play some other good holds. I'm a big fan of inventive scripting, so I'd prefer holds that tell a good story rather than just have puzzle after puzzle.

I've alrady played and enjoyed Great Uncle Yrgess's hold, Odd Jobs (although I'm stuck on about 6 of the rooms in Expert) and Beethro's Day Out, so that's an example of what I like.

Thanks!

Try "King Pilchard VIII's Dungeon". I think you'll like it. Lots of good scripting, and much easier than Perfection.

I should probably pimp my own holds, The Choice and Beethro Goes Fourth.

Metdroid Prime also has some good scripting.

Although if it is story scripting you want and not puzzle scripting, there are probably other places to turn.

Game on,

It sounds like you're looking for medium difficulty with good storyline (more then scripting).

Krishh's Castle comes to mind.
You could also try The Zombie Problem just released.

Of course there's always Odyssey by your and my favorite architect :glasses

OK, how much is Neil paying you? (I thought my people had already paid off all the forum members.)

Back on subject, how about Tunnel Vision?

Great story, scripting, and puzzles. You can not lose!

Indeed. I have conquered it, but I'm stuck on the RQ-on-trapdoor room.

Great story, scripting, and puzzles. You can not lose!
Note: I did not pay Larry anything (yet).

Back -perhaps- on topic: If you want non-puzzle holds, you might try the holds in 2005 DROD Film Festival!.

Oh, and a link to Tunnel Vision is in my sig.

Game on,

I've played the Choice ( you can assume I've played all the Smitemaster selections) and Beethro goes fourth, and they were both good holds.

I tried MetDrioid prime, but i don't understand at all how to unlock the doors, so i quickly gave up in frustration.

Try at the bottom of this page http://forum.caravelgames.com/viewtopic.php?TopicID=10231&page=0#106582 called Beethro's RPG. It's more of a Role Playing Game but using DROD.

Zoombini, here's how MetDROiD Prime locks work - the game is large and worth the adventuring!
