Okay, I love the game but there are levels that frustrate me even when I know what to do. I have downloaded the \"save games\" from the DROD site and the \"DMO\" but my version is 1.5 Caravel and these files do not work. How can I get them to work. There is no Dat folder, only a Data and the files do not match anything in them. Please help
me cheat. : )

BTW. I am currently stuck on, what else, level 8. Two sections are killing me. The first is the northern/east room which is divided into 3 rooms. I cannot get the third room before the tar becomes impassable at the third door.

The other level I cannot get past the impassable tar which leads to the \"hidden\" room - the furtherest east room.

Level 8 is a great level. I remember being completely frustrated. I kept at it and now am glad I did.

I\'m not sure which other room you mean.

It is the room at the far right (of the screen) with the exit at the top and left of the screen. The problem is I left the room after killing the tar monster and now I can\'t get him back. I even restarted the entire level but when I get there the tar monster is not there!!!

Since Caravel has a restore feature if you have played all the levels, I wonder if someone could upload a completed dat file (or whatever it is) so us frustrated people can skip certain levels.

I know what to do now but I can\'t get the stupid tar monster back and I am tired of replaying the entire level. Please help.

If you cleared the room and didn\'t leave via the north exit I don\'t think theres any way to get there. Have you tried restoring that room at the room start? That should work as should restoring the level start. If all else fails you can try to restore the end of lvl 7.
