Where are the demos saved? I have made a couple of demos (just out of curiousity) and ran a search for them, but can't find the demos. Does anyone know where they are saved at?

Press F6 in the same room as you recorded the demo in (if you are recording a demo and move from room to room, it stops the first room's demo and start a new one in the new room - there are no multi-room demos).

I understand that, I was just curious where they were saved. I know how to get to them to view them. Just curious on where on the harddrive they are saved, and what kind of file they use to save them under.

You can't get to the demos as separate files unless you tell DROD to actively Export them.

Game on,

Can you import them? There is a sight that I found that you can download demos from, and I am trying to figure out how to put them in, so that I can view them. I have tried to change the extension, and it didn't work. The website said to "Once you have downloaded the .dmo file, you can copy it into the "dat" directory of DROD. If you haven't messed around with this directory yet, then you have three .dmo files named 1.dmo, 2.dmo, and 3.dmo. These correspond to the three demos that cycle when you press the "d" key from the main menu or just pause there for too long. You can rename your downloaded demo file to 4.dmo or remove the others and name it 1.dmo or something like that." Yet, I have found no *.dmo files in my "data" folder, and there is no "dat" folder.

Yes, you can import demos - but not the demos you are talking about. The demos you found belong to an earlier version of DROD (webfoot DROD). The newer DROD (caravel DROD) lost demo abilities - and now got them back in the beta - however, the beta can't import the old demo format.

There aren't any demos of the new format available yet.
