The below is some pretty standard "custom tar mother" code:

It works fine, but if I put a monster of this type down and put a "Replace with Default Script" command, then it bugs out. If a monster is set up that way, then the first time the player steps into the room it will work properly, but then if the player leaves the room and comes back it will no longer run the "tar control" part of the script at all. So it just stays at 0 hp forever and you can't cut the tarstuff anymore.

Good chance to laugh at me: when a script is replaced with the default script, the replacement doesn't get persisted. This is a big problem.
