At first I thought you were talking about the Gateway game, which is based off of a series of science fiction books that I like, but then I remembered that Gateway was an adventure game and I remembered the Homeworld you are referring to, which was a strategy game. And I in general really suck at the real-time ones. So, I know of it, but I've never played it.
