I'm not sure if this behavior is intended or has been noted before, but I just found out that if you push a monster (tried only with gel baby) into a guard sword, and at the same time he rotates the sword towards the monster, the latter does not die. This seems a bit counter-intuitive.
In the screen attached, when I turn my sword CCW, the baby moves, and the guard turns his sword CCW as well. The baby, however, remains alive.
I haven't tried this with other monsters or weapon.

I believe stabs happen at the end of the wielder's turn (guard's in this case). I know that if an adder moves onto your sword, you can turn to avoid stabbing it.
