Hi, new-ish convert to DROD here. I recently 100%'d GatEB and TSS, currently finishing off the others.

I'd like to pick apart and fiddle with some of the scripted things from TSS (bonus weapons, carnivorous plant, Tendry, etc.)
From what I can tell, you can play with beaten holds and their contained scripts in the editor... except the official one*?

-Is there anywhere from which I could get these scripts?
-Failing that, would it be hard to reconstruct them?
-Also, are there any TSS (not RPG) holds that use Tendry, with his hole-jumping and door-walking?

*For reference, I have the Steam release. I don't know if it's different in the others.

What you want is
DROD:TSS Custom Elements Bonus Pack v1.2

CaravelGames gave permission for people who own The Second Sky to use these elements in their own holds, so if you own the Steam version you should be good.

To my knowledge there aren't any other TSS holds using Tendry. Door-walking in particular is tricky, although there are various grappling hook scripts that people have come up with for hole-jumping.

The Bonus Pack only shows up on this page if you own the game on Caravel.

For Steam users the same file is bundled with the OST DLC. You can open the included hold in the editor and copy-paste relevant custom characters into your own holds. There's a mini-guide with more detailed steps here.

This is entirely on a per-hold basis. The author can set editing rights as always/after conquering/after mastering/never. You should be able to see which one a hold is set to by selecting it in the editor and looking at what's highlighted in the "Who can edit" box on the right side of the screen. There's no difference in editability between game versions.

Great - I'd checked the Caravel download page before and given up hope. Good news is, I've already bought the OST DLC, the demonstration hold works, and there's enough information for me to get how it all functions. (The bad news, no Tendry. Oh well!)

Door-walking in particular is tricky

I'll just have to get good at the scripting, then, won't I!
