Attached hold demonstrates. If you enter the eastern staircase on the second level, the entrance it once pointed to was deleted. Entering it in testplay ends testing, and entering it in normal gameplay ends the hold.

However, the staircase is not marked orange in the editor, making it easier to overlook the fact that it has no destination set.
