No. There are no new rooms in the Steam version beyond what is in KDD 5.0 on the forum.

Not seeing KDD key still. I'm guessing downloading KDD 2.0 and just importing isn't going to work for the achievements.

So, I have KDD 2.0, but no Steam key on my profile. I am guessing this might be because I bought it as a Smitemaster's Selection. Will this be handled separately from KDD as a standalone purchase?

So the people on the steam forums think that KDD is a demo version thanks to the quit screen being from the demo. Great 5.0 engine feature. Totally not confusing for the new players. At all.

It shows as installed on Steam, but does not show up in change location.

Do I need a current CaravelNet subscription? I am on OS X.

Woot, KDD finally on Steam!

I'm one of the oldbies who actually completed Webfoot DROD so I'm happy to see how far it's come. GATEB is fun but KDD is just even more fun


(but, I did two challenges and didn't get an achievement for those?)

I've noticed the pages for JtRH and TCB are already up on Steam, and, of course, they're also using the old screenshots. And that can only mean one thing. Or two, depending on which things you want to count.

Sorry for the inconvenience. No, you don't need a CaravelNet subscription. The KDD data file should have been installed by Steam inside the app package, right alongside the GatEB data files, making it available for selection. Would you please check inside the app's "Contents/Resources/Data/" directory for the presence of the file called "drod5_0_110.dat", and confirm you can find it there? Thank you!

Greetings, today I bought DLC "King Dugan's Dungeon", and what I see. King Dugan's Dungeon on 5.0 engine working perfect, but there is one trouble. Steam Achievments doesn't work.

There is no Contents/Resources/Data.

SmSes won't receive any updates IIRC.

EDIT: Time for the standard question again: How will the Caravel buyers receive their SmSes on the Steam release? I guess this would be more complicated than the main holds because they're separate and not really bundled together like the steam DLC does, but still, an answer or even just a plan would be nice to have.

Am I the only one thinking Caravel would benefit greatly if DezzTech oversaw all their marketing/PR efforts? He basically still does that and for free, just after the announcements/releases happen.

Umm, the last screenshot is somewhat a spoiler to that room. I've seen many puzzle games spoiling some puzzles by demonstrating them on trailers and screenshot, and I'm not too fond of that myself.

Also, may I suggest putting I Saw Isoceles room as one of the screenshots to? I think lots of people really like that scene.

Is it though? I mean, there are only so many things you can do in this room, so I did a few things that someone who's solving this room for the first time might do to get a rough idea of how to solve it. And I made sure that it actually wasn't the correct solution.

Do you mean the one called "Moderate Smiter"? Maybe the game has a different name scripted for this one. Would someone post precisely what the game calls this achievement when you earn it? It might have a typo or something causing a de-sync.

I can confirm that the ingame challenge list on the restore screen and the challenge earning popup in the Steam version call it "Moderate Striker".
As far as I can tell, only the corresponding Steam achievement for this challenge seems to use the name "Moderate Smiter", which might be the cause for why it appears to still be unearnable, even after all of the other achievements have been fixed.
