A spear attack can break tar stuff anywhere, not just at its normal weakpoint.
That's interesting... Shame on me for only testing the weapons' behavior on fluff/puff.

I did notice this one, and this detail is crucial for making groups of monsters managable. (Unlike, say, fighting as a goblin in TCB.)

Oh, I didn't mean it in a *negative* way. It's just, the weapons add a lot of depth to the game even without the special abilities, so one wouldn't necessarily think about them...

I'm one of those people who like horde management just as much as the more contemplative rooms, and the new weapons are a great way of expanding on that. (It's similar to when speed potions were introduced, and all those well-known enemies suddenly required new tactics.)
