How do you get to the swamp monster? I just sink in to the mud.
Also, I can't get another crystal to fix the golden sword and the one I had burned up

I don't think you can get another crystal. The crystal puzzle kind of blindsides you but it's no biggie.

As for the swamp monster, I assume you're a Warrior? You can't walk across the bottomless swamp, but perhaps there's a way to bridge it?

Hint:
Hopefully that's a start. You might not be able to with the gear you have, once you know about that bit it's pretty logical from there on.

If you're non-warrior, AFAIK you can't cross the swamp and never have to.

one more thing though, how do I get the potion from the chest with no goldn sword as a warrior?

It's even more frustrating if your first playthrough is Sorceress. It's like, "What is that plant FORRRRR? Why can't I just teleport across the swamp? Why is Sixth Sense calling my attention to this plant?"

turns out I didn't need to go there at all.
