Run DROD full screen. On the main menu, press 'h' to access the help. DROD reverts to windowed mode, and crashes (and the help screen does not appear) Not just a 'nice' crash either - the DROD task freezes, and cannot be killed, no matter how I try (except by rebooting the PC)

I'm using WinXP (all security updates) Geforce3 Ti200, NVidia driver version 45.23

I'll try updating my NVidia drivers later.

How exactly do you change to full screen? I think it's F5 or something. Am I right?

F10, or I there's an option within Settings that controls it as well.

Um yeah, you're a tad behind on those drivers. The latest release was 53.03.

Yeah, but new drivers can have issues. And Alt-Enter also works to switch between full-screen and back, I believe.

Has anyone else noticed that if you click the Quit button, you're prompted to make sure you mean it, but if you press Q you're not?

My mistake, it's the Escape key that has this behaviour. Q does what it's expected to.

We asked for this as a "panic" key for when the boss comes in on us while we're playing. It makes sense, really it does.

More than that... IMO, it only makes sense to have a 'Do you really want to do that?' prompt if there are some negative consequences to the action. Since DROD loads fast, and progress is already saved once you reach the main screen, this is not the case. If the game which took a while to start, or if the save editor progress option were disabled, then it would make sense to have a prompt.

Oh yeah, and I updated my drivers to 53.?? and it made no difference to the crash bug. Has anyone else independantly confirmed this yet, need I ask?

Once again, I updated my drivers, and it didn't make a jot of difference to the crash problem with using the help button on the DROD main menu when full screen.

I'm running at 1600x1200 (32 bit colour) before I play DROD full screen. If I click help, then it returns to 1600x1200, with the DROD window displayed at the top left, in a crashed state. I cannot kill, cancel, or close the DROD task except by restarting the computer.

Is there any other information that could help pinpoint the problem? Is this crash bug specific to me, or do other people see the same thing?
