I'd like to say what a pleasure it is to have such a rich set of choices to vote for. I only wish I could vote for more than one thing sometimes.

I'll be happy whatever wins in most cases -- so many good holds in the past year.

Oh. Well that was entirely unexpected. Compass Point is one of the smallest holds available, and now it’s up for Hold of the Year? Wow! I feel kinda like a Chicken McNugget up against a Thanksgiving feast.

I love how I can't vote in most of these because all the holds are crazy hard or I just haven't had time to do them. Ah well, voted for what I could.
I just want to say that I voted for Larry Murk, for though I do enjoy everything Oneiromancer has done and his story is often better, larrymurk's many holds have given me more pleasure overall despite their mildly greater difficulty, and I feel that's what really counts. Surely this has summat to do with his being the greatest implementer of lynchpins in the architect community.
Oh, and Jutt's AE elements clock is great; it's visual representations are quite useful.

I have voted for all the choices that I thought best fit in the categories.

I don't think it's too early to publicly state that I was the one who nominated Compass Point for Hold of the Year.
