icon How do i know if the room in AE is not required? (0)  
Every room that contains monsters in AE is red.In KDD (I think) every room is required. What about user-created holds?

There was a red room on map. I didnt conquer it but Exit Level! appeared.

That's because in AE, all infested rooms show up red, required or not.

I think most architects are nice enough either to include a scroll stating that the room isn't required, or only put non-required rooms on the way to the exit.

e.g. the first level of Simon's Dungeon is a good example.
