Don't know if this has been done before.
Basicly post your favorite moments from any game of the resident evil series. It could be the scariest moment you've been through in the series, or maybe the best boss battle.

I played RE4 and the thing I remember most is Mr. chainsaw guy beheading me quite proficiently many times.

I only played RE4, and thoroughly enjoyed it, and had some moments, but nothing I really remember so well now that it's worth posting about. Just the overall experience was excellent.

I personally think the entire series is overrated today (though the earlier ones were excellent for the time), but it really did have some great moments. Mine isn't exactly a moment as much as a feeling, I never played Alone in the Dark so the real-time exploration and very real danger combined with the incredible atmosphere of the first really gave me the feeling that I was exploring this genuinely dangerous area. Now it may not seem like that's something special, but for the time it was absolutely incredible.
