I must be blind, but I can't see anywhere to land with the boat that will help me solve this room. All of the landing areas are blocked of with lasers, except two, but those don't help.

Ive been stuck here for a couple of weeks



I can get chen to the Player Switcher tile on the right, but then from there If I go back to him at all I have to run away. Too many bugs to deal with.

Any ideas? It's the only thing I have left with a red X for level 8...

The bugs are what you have to deal with. That's all I really can help you with. Just remember that you can distract the bugs by stepping on the switch tile again.

Yep, you need to reach the Breeders.

Use the fire, it's useful for killing more roaches per turn...

..Use the splitter wisely...

Yeah I manage to kill 3 at once with the fire while standing by it and 'battling' but I cant reduce them enough to get forward. By the time i get to the middle of the screen, there are too many to easily control and I have to run back to switchers that I have been past...

This is as high up the level as I can get...



I can get to the right, or down from the there, but get any higher from that PP to my right, and I get swamped with too many bugs to deal with and I have to run back down... If I go via the red line, the bugs are too close for me to move up 3. If I go to the middle again I have to work my way back. Im kinda stuck as to how you can get much higher than this. I usually end up back in the water trying to use the fire to empty the room off a bit.

Well, by eye, I guess you can escape from this situation going east to the splitter. You don't need to wait for the right moment to switch to the archer ( targeting the roach ). You can do it any time. But try not to lose too much time with him. Keep posting, this is getting interesting. I want to know the final result.

A safe spot where you can kill 2 roaches per turn is one tile below the fire.

If you need to restore from a previous checkpoint, left-click it.

I can get up high now, but I cant get to the spawners. By the time I have the room clear, I am exactly the number of squares from the spawners that they need to spawn again, and I spend the next 20 minutes per time trying to get past them. THere just doesn't seem to be enough spaces to stall them....


They spawn before I can get there - and by the time i deal with them all, they are ready to spawn again...

Ive been stuck since 22 November

I did manage to hit the switch, but it didnt protect the priest at all? I still had to worry about the bug getting to him....

Hi amb.

The priest will be protected not when you strike the orb, but when you reach the green splitter line. (So the new roaches will get stuck against the water tile, unless you move below this line they'll attack him).

So, a smart move would be to rush to a safe place like this one:



The priest will be protected this way.

Try to fight efficiently to achieve this goal.

Fighting Efficiently == Killing more roaches per turn.

I think you can make two good moves from the first image (The one you're standing over a save-point).

1-Move NE (kill the roach).
2-Move SE (kill the other one).
3-Rotate Anti-clockwise.
4-Go to our safe spot (My image).

I can turn off the upper ray but not the bottom one...

what do i do here?????? the only way to turn off the lower ray and allow access to chen is to switch to the priest.........which leaves me no way to switch to ANYTHING else!!!!!

I notice in your screenshot that the priest is defending himself from roaches. Interestingly enough, in this room that's fatal.

Instead, he needs to hit the hit the orb and swap back to Berk, leaving him paralyzed aimed at the orb until Chen has cleaned out the entire right side. You have to do that the first time, so you'll have to restore from the state in your image.

Please help I have no idea how to hit both orbs and get to chen
I do not understand the hints for this. When I hit the orb to turn off the laser then I get stuck
