This is my first attempt at making a hold for DRoD. I'm planning on adding morre levels down the road, but first I'd like to get some feedback on what I've done that works and what doesn't.

I know the hold is winnable (I've played it through myself)but that's only one aspect of designing an effective hold.

It all works! And quite nicely too. Some rooms looked hard but were really overly simple, but that's good. My only real comment is in Level two: Twice South. What were those orbs for? I never ever used them at all!

This hold works very well, especially for a 2 level DROD:AE hold. I'd say it works. Looks nice, quite easy and interesting.

The only suggestion I would give is that you should continue with it.

1) The hold description says "Mount drear". You might want to change a "d" into "D".
2) The scroll in L2:1S is empty. This is a bug in DROD:AE, so you might want to delete the scroll and make a new one.
3) You might also want to add some ending text.

If you mean One South, you are right.

FIrst: Sory for not replying sooner.

For once south my original though was that the destructable walls would be tougher to see (But they're very visible- aren't they?) so I made it so the room can be solved from either entrance, with the upper left one being easier. I'm going to change the room, but I'm not yet sure how.

I've added some ending text and I'm going to give it a better description.

I'm not too sure if you know this already, but most of the people on this Forum do not play DROD using your version any more. In the new version, desctructable walls are very visible.

You don't have to change the room. But if you want to change that room, you might try to add a scroll saying something like "If you want a challenging orb puzzle, enter this path. If you don't like it, enter the left path."

(Demo of DROD:JtRH can be downloaded here: http://caravelgames.com/Articles/Games_2/DownloadJtRH.html)
