Is there any way to turn the music down or off?

Option screen:

Click: "Music Interval: Off"

I'll code a "change music volume" in the future.

I would also be nice if it was possible to turn of the music on the main menu :music

If someone doesn't have a sound card or wants to disable sound on WQ, just open the config.ini file on the game folder, and modify:

SOUND 1

to

SOUND 0

Once I find a cool Royalty-free song for the main menu theme, I'll change it. (It's a bit repetitive)

dmusic.com is a good place to find music. Some of it is licensed under Creative Commons, but for most of it, you'd need to contact the author and ask. A couple of guys that had some good music and were really nice to me about offering music earlier:

Zombie Autopilot (listen to Braindance)
Bobby Erwin and Friends (listen to Nutmeg, Subtle)

I would not hesitate to approach someone there who has written music you would like to use. It is a nice community with a mixture of beginning and experienced musicians. The attitude of people tends to be collaborative and generous.

Thanks Erik.

I'm trying to build my home studio here. I would rather compose the the game songs, but I don't have a good organ to record them.
