I'm not really sure if this is a bug or intended behavior, but the music in DROD stops playing in windowed mode if the window loses focus (at least in linux, latest cvs). This is a bit annoying if you've got focus-under-cursor (like me).

If this is intended, maybe it could be changed to stop at minimize instead ? That way people who really wanted the music to stop could get their way, and i would be happy also

It's just a small thing, so if you want to keep it like this, i've no problems.

It's just a small thing, so if you want to keep it like this, i've no problems.

Could the behaviour be made specific according to platform? I'd prefer it stays as it is in Windows (I often play DROD windowed, and appreciate that the music stops when I'm not playing and have focus on something else)

I'd rather not make it platform specific - different window managers in linux does different things. The one i'm using offers a choice between 4 different focus behaviors. Windows can also be made to use different focus behaviors, by the way.

Maybe this could be made an option in the settings screen ? There's room for it. The question is if it's important enough - as i said, it's just a small thing.

If room runs out for options, there'll always be room enough for an 'additional options' button Or perhaps a more logical rearrangement of settings according to basic headings (audio/visual/game settings, keyboard settings, everything else)

If things like e.g. my keyboard macro suggestion (carpal tunnel prevention for hack+slash rooms) get implemented, we might otherwise begin running short of space.

Or else, for something there really isn't much call for, it could be left to an .ini setting...
