Okay, I just finished this room a couple of days ago, so I can give you a hint. First of all, it's a good idea to export a pic of the room and work on that (for example erasing the square where a trap door is to symbolise having gone over it). Otherwise you'll get tired pretty quickly of running from the room door to the first trap door. Here comes a useful method which may help:

There are a couple of rows which are real bottlenecks for the trips north and south. With pencil and paper, you can find out which rows can be passed _only once_ in each direction. To do this, don't worry about which of the trap doors on the row need to be passed, just say: to get from 1st to 2nd button, I have to pass rows 3,4,5. Once you know which these are, it is almost (but only almost) easy to find a suitable passage.
