Well, a Deadly Virus Of Death corrupted a few of my files (including DROD.) So I copied my DATA.DAT file, and reinstalled DROD.

Now, I return DATA.DAT and start up DROD, and I have no saves!
So... how do I get my progress?
Please tell me CaravelNet can give me my player file back at my last high-score upload?

It's not just data.dat - it's also drod2_0.dat, player.dat, and text.dat that hold player info. I'm afraid that unless you have those files DROD won't recognise your data unless you have a previously exported player file to import.

It has been suggested that players be able to back up their data on CaravelNet but that is not as yet available... sorry, but if you've lost your data that's it. Your highscores will still be intact if that's any consolation...

*sadness*

Oh, I don't have those files. I just kept data.dat.
I should have noticed player.dat
Am I allowed to ask for a save at L23?
I was so close, too!

*more sadness*
