×You can't clear this room with the mimic. You can clear the trapdoors, but you can't get the mimic down to kill one of the roaches on force arrows.

What you're meant to do is complete 1S2E first, which means hitting that orb with the mimic so you can take the southeast exit. Then you can use the green door exit in 1S2E to hit the orb yourself, then drop the trapdoors again and kill the south roaches.

Edit: but I'm not sure you can get back if you leave 1S2E to the north before completing 1E, so be careful. Looking at it again, this level is a real mess to navigate.
