Grr, I've tried this room twolce and twolce again, and the roach/WW chamber has me baffled. Doom, why couldn't you have been merciful and added a brain

Hi, my problem is different, although for the same room. I reached the mud babies and here I'm stuck. I have no clue what to do? Can somebody help me?

Hey, I just reached that too. I know I have to use the mud to block off the babies, but then I'm either trapped on the other side or mauled by the babies, unable to defend. And this is the last section too...

OK I'm having a new problem. I've conquered everything up to the last section where I've realized that I can't get the blue babies! I figure that I need to leave one knight alive and trapped on the right side of the knight room, but I just can't figure out how to do this while getting him (or his friend) to hit the orb that lets me proceed.

Thank you for the hints! Finaly I solved it but unfortunately it was mostly luck than really planed action In my opinion a checkpoint in mud section will be good appreciated!

yes, it did. i cleared the mud area, opened the red door. killed the mud mother and.....

...left the tar babies under the mud mother with no idea how to reach them *g*

Ow! I hate to tell you this but... to have no idea of how to kill the tar babies is no good sign. It should be obvious how to do it if you could do it. Unfortunatly I suspect that you have destroyed your possibility to do so.

yes, of course! this means that i have to remake my strategy for the complete room

but with the expierience of the many trials it will be not too hard i think.

it's me again.

i tried lots of times but i can't find out how to trap the second guard behind the wall. the guys who solved the room will know what i mean. otherwise i can post a pictur of the situation i talk about...

Okay, I've returned to this hold after a long time, and I'm now stuck in the guard chamber. I can get a guard to hit the northernmost orb, but I can't get him to stay in the chamber while I close the other door. Any hints?

No - as I said, both these hints were pretty useful in figuring out how to get the guard to hit the orb, but not in how to get him to stay in the chamber afterwards.

But those hints are specifically referring to keeping the guard in the right part of the chamber. When you zig-zag, the guard keeps turning his sword back and forth instead of moving left and you'll get enough time to close the door before he crosses it.
